Service and accommodation
We have made every effort to ensure that the
information and the photographs contained in
our brochure are accurate; however, should an
occasional change in the itinerary occur, inclusions
may be varied with or without prior notice.
All prices in this brochure are based on standard
rooms at the hotels. We reserve the right to
substitute hotels of similar category without
notice.
Cruises may change their itinerary due to low/high
water level in the Nile.
All hotel rooms/cabins are contracted on run
of the house; any special request will be subject
to hotel/cruise availability.
Please note that due to some religious festivals
or national holidays and/or unforeseen reasons,
a rerouting of your program may occur occasionally.
Clients unhappy about any service, should inform
the local representative of Scarabee Travel
in the destination.
For any unused services, tours, hotel nights,
airline unused portion, no refund will be granted.
Description of facilities provided at hotels
and all information herein are provided in good
faith, and every effort has been made to ensure
their accuracy. However, it is possible that
hoteliers, shopkeepers, nightclub owners, etc.
(over whom we have no control) may wish to change
their facilities (e.g. a swimming pool may be
closed for maintenance or emptied for cleaning,
a discotheque may be closed for redecoration)
which may then be temporarily or permanently
unavailable. In some cases, the operation of
air-conditioning or central heating is at the
discretion of the management as is the heating
of swimming pools. Some hotels charge for nightclubs
or discotheques, tennis courts, mini-golf, table
tennis, deck chairs, umbrellas, health clubs,
beach equipment and similar additional facilities.
The operation of swimming pools is at the discretion
of hotel management and clients who require
confirmation of availability of swimming should
check when booking their holidays. Hotels offering
satellite TV may provide only a limited selection
of channels in English.
Deposit and Payment
A deposit of $300 is required at the time of
booking (Non-Refundable) and balance is due
45 days prior to departure.
Cancellation
More than 45 days *before departure date results
in forfeit of deposit.
(*day one of your cancellation will be taken
as the day before your actual date of departure).
Between 45 and 29 days: 50%
Between 28 and 15 days: 75%
Day of departure -14 days 100%
Please note that Scarabee Travel reserves the
right to charge a fee of CAD$50 for a change
of a confirmed booking.
Classifications and Standards
Travelers should be aware that different living
standards and practices and different standards
and conditions with respect to the provisions
of utilities, services and accommodation may
exist . The quality standards of hotels and
other services described in this brochure are
established according to the standards of Egypt.
If, due to circumstances beyond our control,
there are changes in itineraries, schedules
or hotels, we reserve the right to substitute
any of the services or hotels with similar or
better ones.
What's not included
Cost of obtaining passport, beverages, laundry,
room service, excess baggage, phone calls, meals
other than specified in the itinerary, optional
sightseeing, medical, tips, insurance coverage,
trip cancellation, and any other item not mentioned
in the list of included features in each item
in the tour cost.
Scarabee Travel Responsibilities
Scarabee Travel contracts with various companies,
such as tour operators, airlines, hotels, cruise
lines, etc. Each of these companies has its
own terms and conditions for doing business,
and you will be bound by them. All exchange
orders, coupons and tickets are issued subject
to the terms and conditions under which such
means of transportation, accommodation and other
services are offered or provided. The issuance
or acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed
as consent to the future conditions. Scarabee
Travel shall not be in any way liable for injury,
damage, loss, accident, delay or any irregularity
in any vehicle or through the act of default
of any company or person engaged in conveying
the passengers or any hotel proprietor, personnel
or servant of any other person, resulting in
loss or additional expenses due to delay or
changes in connection herewith. Scarabee Travel
cannot accept the responsibility for changes
in transportation schedule or other causes.
The right is reserved to accept or retain any
person as a member of any tour, or to change
or withdraw the tour as circumstances demand.
Each exchange coupon, order or ticket is to
be regarded as one contracted by or on behalf
of the particular company or person named in
it.
Scarabee Travel will not be held responsible
of any failure to obtain a valid travel documents,
failure to arrive at the airport on time on
the day of departure for any reason.
Baggage is carried at owner's risk. The company
assumes no responsibility for damage, loss,
or mishandling of baggage. Baggage insurance
is highly recommended.
Baggage Allowance
Two checked bags per person of maximum 72 lbs
(30 kg)
Travel Insurance
It is recommended to buy cancellation and medical
insurance to protect yourself against cancellation
and/or changes which result from sickness or
other accidents or emergencies (please ask for
details).
Travel Documents
All passengers must have a valid passport (for
minimum of six months from the last date of
the tour), and a visa for Canadian nationalities
(please ask for details). Scarabee Travel will
not assume any responsibility whatsoever for
any passenger not having the correct documentation
and no refunds will be made.
Acknowledgement
The passenger hereby acknowledges having read
the provisions within, relating to the responsibility
of Scarabee Travel.
